Cedar House Books has released Kate's first full-length book, Another Sunset We Survive (Sept. 2007).

Kate's chapbook, Bone Knowing, won the 2006 Gertrude Press poetry contest, and her first chapbook, Where She Goes, won the 2000 Blue Light Poetry Prize. Kate teaches at Clackamas Community College (Oregon City, OR) and is part of Portland's Dangerous Writing community.
